How It Works

• The system operates as a SWIFT Transaction Data Repository/Portal for all incoming and outgoing SWIFT transactions
• The solution ensures that both structured and unstructured messages comply with the bank’s predefined business rules and workflows
• Inbound SWIFT messages are automatically routed to the ‘Centralized – Inward SWIFT Cell’, while those intended for specific ‘B’ or ‘C’ category branches are directed accordingly
• Any messages that cannot be automatically routed are placed in a ‘HOLD’ queue for manual intervention and processing
• All outgoing SWIFT messages are processed, reconciled, and sent to end customers and internal branches as password-protected PDF files
• The solution provides a comprehensive search feature for retrieving old and archived SWIFT transactions
• The complete transaction history is meticulously tracked and logged according to the predefined workflow for both internal and external audit purposes
• All communication, data sharing, and confirmations between branches regarding unstructured messages are regulated and monitored through established workflows within a single platform
• Branch users are responsible for responding to and managing queries related to inbound SWIFT remittances, overseeing investigations and exception handling within the system
• The system can be configured for automatically sending password-protected PDF files for both outbound and inbound SWIFT transactions to external customers and internal branches of the Bank
• User-defined reports, catering to both internal and external compliance requirements, are directly accessible and can be extracted within the system
